Finally Got To Hold The XDs

I already own an XDm 3.8" 9mm and just purchased the compact version of the same on Sunday to be my carry weapon since I just completed my concealed carry course. So I stopped in the same LGS today to buy some ammo to break in the new pistol and wouldn't you know it... they had just gotten a delivery of SEVEN new XDs this morning. Two of them had already sold before I got there, but I got to hold one of the remaining 5. Felt pretty darn good in-hand. Almost TOO thin. I may revisit the XDs later in the year when they release the 9mm, but for now I think I'm pretty damn happy with the XDm compact.

Congrats on your new 3.8" compact & completeing your CC class!
I just purchased an XDS last week (have not had a chance to shoot it yet, sad I know) & I like the thin feel of it in my hand. Also I was suprised I get my whole hand around the grip including my pinky, just barely but it fits. I'll let you know after I shoot how I like it pass the in hand feel. Hope to make it to the range this afternoon if all goes as planned.

For now my EDC is my 3.8" 9mm or .45 compact. Both of which I love & think are awesome guns!

^^^^ It will probably be the same size...... just more rounds. The back of the paddle holster that comes with the xds says:

"XDS .45 .40 9mm"

What shop did you find them in & what was there price, if you recall?

Shooters Supply in Louisville, KY. Price was (I think) $549.
