I'm still 3rd on the list at my preferred LGS. They have received 1 thus far. As much as it tries my patience I’m not going to run one down anywhere else, I’ll just wait it out.

I'm number one on the waiting list, actually the first person to prepay and put on the list. LGS has yet to receive any and just told me 2 weeks!! They are a big dealer so i don't know what the issue is. Florida Gun Exchange in central FL. I can't believe they have yet to receive one...

I emailed Springfield Armory sales today to ask about the Bi-Tone. Here is their answer:
"Dear Paula,
It will be 1-3 month until we see the bi-tones out there in good quantity. They are coming just taking a little bit of time.

How did you manage to get your XDS through Springfield? For all those in the Hudson Valley of NY, Davis Shooting Sports in Goshen NY has 7 XD-S's I bought the 8th one.

Check Gander Mtn in Wichita - they've had several in and had one on the shelf last week. It may be worth a drive up.
