There's something missing on this side:
I am looking for an ambi safety. I was looking for a Springer LW Champ Oper and found one used here in Phx but it was sold before I left Germany.

Man, that thing really beat you up. I started to develop blister on my trigger finger after about 300 rounds in one day but it definitely didn't look like my hand had been run over like yours did. It must not fit in your hand very good. I wouldn't want to keep it either if it treated me that way. Hope you are able to find what you are looking for.

I have a commander length Springfield and an EMP in 9mm, and both supposedly require a "tool" for take down, but I never use them. You can take them down with your hands no problem after you've fiddled around with them a bit. It just takes a few time figuring out how to compress the spring on your own, and you're set. And no bushing wrench required either .

I'll try and take some pics when I get home to show you how.

A local gun store has a 4 inch Kimber for sale so if you could that would be awesome!

From what I understand from frequenting various forums you are handling this critisim completely wrong. You are supposed to get bent out of shape and start turning towards personal attacks.

Get with the program!

Sorry the XDs isn't working out for you! Hope you can find something to fill your needs.

I dont think they make 1911's or ANY gun 3/4 of an inch.
Just giving ya a hard time. I know what ya meant.

Shot mine today 200 rounds ....no problems like that !I do alot of shooting with a smith and wesson bodyguard .38 and has like 12lbs trigger ...so this trigger seems really light ...and recoil is alot less then the 38 so loved it....

U sure that is from trigger not tring to load the mag ...The were stiff for me ....

My 3" kimber is quite snappy. I wanted the xds. May still persue one. But for a carry gun I wanted what im most accurate with and that's a 1911. Personally I cannot be as accurate with my 1911 after shooting my xdm then going to my 1911. It'll come with more practice bit I think its just my grip. I sold my Glock 23 for my 3" 1911. Not a bad pistol but like the xdm line more. My next polymer pistol will ne another xdm.

I've bought and sold quite a few pistils in my freedom I've jumped on moving to pa from my coupled with my tax return. But the one that remained is my xdm.
