The Official "How do you carry your XD-S?" Thread
I see some XDS holsters starting to show up in some posts. I know it's still early for the market, but let's show some different options, holster styles, IWB, OWB, etc. as you get them. The XDS is truly a versatile little animal.
Mine rides very very well in the size 12 Uncle Mike's ankle holster. A 45 ankle carry? Yes, it's a very real option, and it works. Another plus for the XDS. Going to be ordering a kydex scabbard from WhiteHat next week to swap out what's on one of my MaxTucks now.

Just the Galco Sto-n-go for my xd9 4in service (sto441, i think is the model), works good for now. As long as my belt is taught enough, and not ninja rolling around, no issues with retention. Concealability is not as good as others probably; it is a straight draw, no forward cant at all, barely any print even with tight shirts and bending over. Placed an order on the 16th for a whitehat maxtuck, waiting for that bad boy to come in. o yeah.

I ordered a White Hat Maxtuck which is on its way, I'll report when I get it. I'm not a big guy and I don't wear baggy clothes, so I'll be very interested in seeing how well it conceals.

Just picked my XDs up the other day and until I find a quality leather belt holster I'll be using the factor holster part of the week; strap holster for my Maxpedition bag, and the nylon dash holster for the car when on longer trips.

I just ordered a new piece of kydex for my "Old Faithful" IWB holster. I'll mould it and fit it myself when it comes in. For now, it gets carried in the supplied paddle holster.
