200 round anniversary...

One intentional limp wrist with poor grip left me with a stovepipe. No other failures to eject or to feed.

Three light primer strikes late in the 200 rounds on WWB. Maybe just gunk in the striker channel. Maybe just WWB...

For me, it requires a distinct 6:00 hold. At 15 yards I placed the paper plate on top of my front sight to hit center.

Recoil isn't the worst I've experienced. But after 200, I'm quite certain I went shooting...

3 light primer strikes? at 200 rounds? That's not normal.
You didn't put oil in the striker housing did you?
If that is your carry gun I would go buy a ton of SD ammo and go shoot it.

1 failure in a 1000 is the most I would except.
1.5% is to frequent for me to be comfortable.

+1. I've never had a failure of any kind with my XDM in well over 10,000 rounds - lost count. All kinds of ammo but all factory.

Yes there was oil. The ammo likely gummed it up. I shot 100 WWB and 100 mixed defensive JHPs. Only WWB had the light strikes.

You know putting oil in the striker housing is bad right. That will cause light primer strikes. I would take it apart clean the striker off reassemble dry.

I don't think I'm that high yet. I'm in the 6,000-7,000 area. Never had 1 malfunction caused by the gun. Had 3 double feeds from dirty mags(2 were at the same competition cause I forgot to take that mag out) in my 6,000- 7,000 rounds of running my gun HARD. I let it get as nasty as I can and keep running it.

When I do clean it I clean it spotless. Its just not often.

Already done.

My XDS wishlist:
There is a spring that pulls the sear back, assisting with trigger pull. It offsets a bit of the striker spring tension. It could be just a bit stronger.

The bar could be modified a hint to shorten pull.

Both might be of benefit. This will never be a tack driver, but a little help would be cool.

Another 100 WWB early today. No failures of any kind. Happy 300th to me and my XDS.
