Sent my Shield and XD-S to James for green/green TFOs. I'll make sure to get pics upon their return.

I also sent my FNP .45 slide for Ameriglow suppressor sights.

I think the TFOs are going to look great on the XD-S.

I wonder if the TFO's will have any POA/POI issues being they are not specifically for the XDS?

I lime the sound of that! Please post pics and a few words on the TFOs. My XD45 has them and I do like them. I'd also like a smidge taller front to get a little less drastic POA POI variance.

In the XDS Unboxing I show the stock sights and even with the XDS the height is "G" just like 99% of all other XD`s. When I installed and shot my XDS with the TFO it was a combat sight picture Just like the stock sight. Some pictures also in the unboxing.

This target represents the XDS being shot with factory sights and Winchester white box 230gr RN.
My pistol shot to the left constantly at 10 ft, this is not an error on the shooters part since the group was always tight, but to the left.
When I moved to 20 ft the groups moved to the right.


All three versions of the XD factory pistol sights from right to left: Classic XD, XDS & XDM.
My copy of the XDS came equipped with the "G" marked rear sight. The "G" marked factory
sights come on almost 99% of all XD series pistols no matter the barrel length or calibre.


The XDS has the same dovetails as all other XD and XDm`s.
The Truglo TFO`s fit the XDS pistols but did require some fitting before installation.

Ignore the housing, you are supposed to line up the three dots, then put the front dot on what you want to hit.

At 15 yards I had to put my front sight under the bottom edge of a paper plate to hot center. It was lile the whole plate was sitting on top of my sight. My preference would be that the pistol fores and the hole I made was just on top of that sight. Its like 4 inches higher than that at 15. I had to aim at the 6 on the clock to hit the center of its face. Wouldn't a slightly higher front sight bring POI down, with the same sight picture?

Im not explaining well... I have a distinct 6:00 and want a Combat...
