No mag loader even though I never use the included one
No Striker status indicator
Trigger is heavy the one I shot at the Shot Show was better. But with 350 rounds as of today it is better than what it was.

I love the trigger. Reset is crisp and I like it better than any of my XDMs. Recoil is not noticeably different than my 3.8 45.

Better than expected
I like everything about this XDs. Trigger pull is different than my XD 45 Tactical but, I like it. Sights are good. Recoil is very manageable. The weight is not bad at all. Seems more accurate than my XD 45 tactical. Basically this XDs is awesome.

I don't see why they wouldn't.

I have one arriving at my LGS tomorrow with my name on it! Very excited.

Sounds like people are a bit disappointed? I don't think it's too early for a poll. I have a feeling these will continue to trickle in, unlike the Shield.

Does anyone have both a Shield and an XD-S? Oh, James does! James, how do they compare? I'll be sending both the Shield and XD-S to you as soon as I get a few rounds through the Springfield.

How different are the internals? James, your trigger is gritty? Try polishing the strike safety lever and striker safety 'button'.

Y'all have me worried. But I have a P938 also tomorrow. So if the XD-S is a disappointment, I'll have something else to distract me..
