You still can't find a Shield in my area.
I guess that will make finding a XDs impossible for a while

Got my XD-S and a Sig P938. They are both incredible!
I'll be shooting both tomorrow. I want to make sure these are GTG for carrying. Should have my CHL any day now.

Was at my LGS yesterday on zeroing a new rifle build when my buddy(who works at the gun shop) comes in a says the xds just arrived. I just finished zeroing in the gun so I pack up and the gun was sold no less than 3 min of being put in the display case! Dammit! I passed by the S&W case and saw(what I thought was several Shield 9mm's). I decided to put my rifle case in my car and purchase the Shield. When I got back, it was sold, and the other Shields were .40's. Not my day lol
A friend who works at a gun shop 4hrs away let me know they had an xds. I decided I was not going to lose out on the opportunity again so I called and placed a deposit on the xds. I will probably go up next wk to pick it up. I have not be on xdtalk for quite some time as I sold my two xd40's and had my xd9sc stolen. I do own an SA MC Operator tho

I just missed an XDs by a few minutes. Birmingham Pistol Whse had a few, but sold the last one 5 minutes before I got there... oh well. I spoke to my other LGS and he mentioned the next shippment will curb the high pricing and should push it around $500 or below, so I think I can wait.
