As far as I know, they are going to have a bitone. I know my local gun shop has one listed on their website.

Springfield XDS 45 3.3 BITONE $561.00 SHIPS FREE

Hopefully this is food for thought. I'd say that even if they dont come out with one right when they release the XDs line, that they will add one soon, as well as other calibers. Hopefully...

The inside cover of the latest American Rifleman has a two "actual size" images of the XDs. It's bigger than I was thinking.

While I like the idea of a slim .45, the XDs looks to be VERY similar, though about an 0.75" shorter, to a PT111 Pro. I haven't compared the XDc, but I imagine I'd get a similar result. Not looking as "sweet" as I was thinking...

That's funny because it is smaller than I was picturing, especially width. It isn't all that much larger than my LCP really.

Ditto.

Really looks like the right "in between" size for me, between my USP .45 compact and my LCP.

It's really almost the same size as a LC9 (which is what I was planning to get), about 1/4" longer slide and a tad thicker.

For where I roam and the threat level, I'm comfortable with 6 rounds of .45 at the ready, in a weapon that seems accurate enough to put lead on target. Beats the LCP, and the LCP beats a sharp stick.

I love that full size ad. It is about the same height as my sub-compact, but the front strap is longer for a full 3 finger grip. I will definitely get one.
