How come? That is what I carry, still looking forward to the XD-S but zero complaints with the XDm..

My XD9sc weighs 2lb. 7.7oz w/ 13rds. of Federal HST 147grain and crossbreed holster. After a few hours of carry at 3 o'clock my 9 o'clock starts to hurt. If my calculation are right, I will be shaving a pound with the XD-S and I could care less about a 5rd. mag because my Ruger LCP that I use for CC only carries 6+1.

Looking forward to handling the XD-S as well and if it is as sweet as advertised I may have to add it to the stable. I CC my XD 45C all day everyday in a CrossBreed Supertuck with a good gunbelt and hardly notice it on my side. I believe the gun belt makes all the difference. The XD-S will be very comfortable, can't wait to handle one.

What type of belt are you using? I only ask because I had the same issue when using a light duty belt. I have been using Wilderness belts for a few years with no pain issues.

i dont think anyone knows if there will be an extended mag. the gun isnt even officially out yet.
