Man it looks sweet but, 5 rounds ain't much. Think I stick with my XDsc with 13 rounds and my XDm 3.8 with 14. Just not sure I would feel comfortable with less than 7 or 8 rounds. My TrP hold 8 and I still take 1 or 2 extra mags. gosh decisions.

I agree with the thought of the need for a XDs subforum that was mentioned in a few of them......may as well make one now since everything about the gun is different...gunsmithing, parts, accessories, etc......
in fact....I will go make a poll and suggestion for this now.....lol

Looks like a great little slim gun to have in the arsenal. Low round count, but the same as any revolver, and 45 acp!!! Not bad SA. You got me for another pistol purchase as soon as my gun dealer gets one in. 45 acp is why I want it, 9mm slims are almost a dime a dozen anymore, but a slim (under 1 inch at its thickest) shooting a full power 45.... that's nice!

I think Springfield should send us all and xd slim for "research and development" purposes  since the concept of the slim was brought up and discussed on xd talk quite a while ago. would be a nice gesture is all ( and maybe a way to get our paws on some xd slims before they officially his the stores.) Wishful thinking as most but worth the mention.
