So does the XD(s) keep the striker status indicator? it looks it has striker fired internals from the pictures, but is it internally hammer fired? i also noticed the trigger stayed all the way back until it was cocked, a characteristic of hammer fired handguns and some striker fired.

I guess we should look for a throng of people looking to offload their XD subcompacts in anticipation. If you were in the market for an XD?sc... you can probably score a good deal in the coming months.
