+1 here because I have no interest in a single stack. 5+1 and its not all that small or light weight. So bring on the low priced XD/XDm's.

i cant believe that weight is unloaded. EMP 9mm (aluminum frame) is only 26 oz, and .40 s/w (steel frame) is only 33 oz. Hopefully someone will give some insinght in the next couple days. I have emp .40 and would have traded for 9mm single stack xdm, but that was assuming a lot less weight. Everyone remember how long it took pearce to come out with extension for xdm? sure hope they get the ball rolling on this. May weight til things slow down a bit and try to catch this gun with a magazine promotion. Will have to see what the price is!

why is that?

29oz. empty. As quoted by Rob Letham on Gun Talk Radio

It's like they've shrunk everything but the weight.

The PF-9 is 12.7oz. empty, 18.2oz. fully loaded, and it's thinner. I hope that the XDS 9mm weighs considerably less than the .45.

He's shot more rounds through guns in his life than most of the membership here combined, and could probably tell you the weight and trigger weight of any gun blindfolded.

But I'm sure he's wrong and you are correct.

Uh-huh.
Rob Leatham only saw it and held it for the first time Mon morning the day before the Shot Show on media day, this was a super secret project that only a couple people at SA really knew about. To put that in perspective I saw and shot it for the first time only a few hours after Rob.
