Changing the back strap

Is anybody else having a tough time changing the back strap? I can't get the #2 off and it is a little too big for my hand.

For some reason, I can't get the pin to release.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You need to go to your local home improvement center/hardware store and get a pin punch set. The one that fits is 3/32". It took me a couple of tries to get it right as well.

Thanks. I tried with a 3/32" but it won't budge. Is is just that tight from the factory? He made it look so easy in the video!!!!

make sure its on a hard padded surface. I used foam padding on concrete floor. After I got that dam thing out I made the pin smaller on the ends, and the hole a tad bigger with a very close in size bit by hand twist. I can now change grips easier..

Use a Glock Armorer's tool, if you have one.

I think it's really deceptive that the video shows the change with no pin installed. How many guys get to their shooting spot and want to change back straps, only to find that they have no pin punch and mallet?

I'm hoping for an aftermarket pin with some kind of quick release. Could be do-able.
