Dawson adjustable sights

From dias numero uno, my XDm9 was shooting low left at 25'. I was concerned that it was my own ham fisted self at fault, so I let a couple of my experienced friends shoot, and they had the same results - supported or unsupported. I decided to buy front and rear Dawson fiber optic adjustables from Springer Precision along with a solid guide rod. They were installed this past weekend, and I went out to the range this afternoon to try out the mods. It took me 15 rounds to fine tune zero, but I now shoot 2 - 3 inch groups inside the 9 ring and the red at 25' consistently (at least consistently TODAY - LOL).

If you guys want to realy improve your enjoyment and the accuracy of your XDm, I would highly recommend that you get the Dawson sights. I don't know if the solid guide rod helps or not, but it's cheap enough to get one of those as well in the same package.

Hope this helps.

Yeah I've had dawsons on mine for quite a while... on my comp gun anyways... I've got a fiberoptic front and black adjustable rear... And I can say from one VERY "Lessons learned" accident that the front sight is very durable... I was trying to see how fast I could get my draws down to, which at the time were .90 I kept working the timer down to .72 and thats when it happened... Uncontrolled draw ended up not having a good grip and the pistol slipped out of my hand and the front sight put a front sight shaped hole in my wood floor I was training so I wasn't loaded or anything, but it did scare the **** out of me... so i toned down how hard i pushed in training...

The front sights for the adjustables are .285" high. So, yes, it's tall enough to snag, but not if you're carrying in a good holster.

I'm not sure Warren makes an adjustable. The Dawson front is the same height as the stock sight, so it should work with the Warren rear.
