Unless you have a magazine extension, I don't believe you will be able to have an XDm .45 ACP with more capacity than the XD 45 model. Remember, the grip frame is a little smaller on the XDm because of the inserts. Not sure why you would want more than 13 rounds (or 10 for that matter) anyway. Just practice your mag reload. Remember, the great thing about the .45 ACP in the first place is the knock down/stopping power of the round. Hit em just about anywhere and the shock will usually incapacitate them. At least it should stop them in their tracks for a more precise second shot!

I don't know why not. I have an fnp .45 that uses 15 round mags and also has a changeable backstrap.

I'll buy one when it comes out. I'm fairly certain that it will happen, just not sure when.

The reason they released the xdm in 9mm after the .40 was because they didn't have to redesign the frame. Same frame and a new slide and presto- a new xdm. An xdm in .45 is going to require a newly designed frame.

For the record again, I'll be first in line when they come out.

I can almost promise they will be coming out w/ and XDm 45. like stated above they will not do this until the demand for the 9 and 40 slow down. from a business stand point continue to sell a product/s if there is demand. when that demand slows, alter the product to create a new demand ie: XDm 45.

yes, 45 is incred. popular right now, but coming out w/ 45 decreases the demand for a product they already have on the market. i am sure this has been discussed before, I just am beating a horse i guess.
