They are aftermarket, I purchased them at the local indoor range/gun store for $130 installed. I was planning on installing them myself until the smith told me how hard it is to get the front sight out. He wasn't kidding I watched him do it and their is no way I could have done it without screwing up the finish or the slide.
hope this helps
as for accuracy, after installed I put the first 4 rounds center mass at 22 feet

Robert

XD(M) with Lasermax Uni-Max-G

I've been messing around with my camera and here are a couple of OK pics. I have been liking the laser and loving the pistol. Have a good day.

I have got to get a light/laser I had the streamlight but sold it when I was tired of looking for a holster to fit it.

Are you happy with the green laser's visibility?

Yea, the visibility is good. In daylight it is hard to see sometimes depending on surface, but all things considered it is much more visible than red. It's the way to go for sure. It might be a while until we get the guide rod lasers in green but CT could probably build them. They are MUCH harder to build than red ones. I would give it an 8 out of 10. Good product.

Nate,

Thanks for the review. I am surprised that you can even 'possibly' see the laser in daylight. With the old red ones, you are crap outa luck in daylight.

Thanks again

Steve

It isn't the best thing since sliced bread but I was just standing at my front door and could see the green dot a block away on a white garage door pretty good. I consider that GREAT for a laser in broad daylight.

Here's mine

Just got this in the mail today. Broke it down, cleaned it, and lubed it. I'm gunna take it out to the range tomorrow for a beating. It was really freaking hard to photograph this gun for some reason.
