Great, Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if the part was interchangable.

D-Bo, you can convert it to use 9mm fairly easily. It'll only take about $175 ish.

Thanks, I didn't know that. I would just like to see some other options in the line as I'm sure others would love to see it chambered in .45 as well.

Blade-Tech has their holsters available for the XDm

I just picked up mine this afternoon.

At first the holster allowed the slide to show at the bottom, but they told me to wait and in 10 minutes they had it covering the slide and enclosed.

If you like their products, place your order, but it will take the usual 4 weeks. I ordered mine just before the 4th of July.

Got to fondle one today...

Well, I had gone to my favorite local gun store to pick up two SERPA holsters that they were holding for me. While waiting, I asked is they had an XDm in stock. They did, and I told them I'd like to see it. Let me tell you: it felt REALLY GOOD in my hands. And I was surprised how light it was (I expected something more "front heavy" like an XD tactical). It just felt really good in my hands. Very comfortable. And it looks SWEET.

Maybe when SA comes out w/ a 9mm or .45 I'll consider getting one...

Dave:

Did you happen to notice if the XDm would fit into the Serpa holster? I have been looking for a good holster for this gun for a while....Left handed...its a bitch I tell ya. Want it for competition so a Serpa would be great but I don't know if it fits. And it appears from the web that they don't offer it in LH. Just wondering what you have seen first hand.

thanks...

I'm sorry - I didn't think to draw my carry weapon and try the XDm in my SERPA. I'm sure the store employees are glad, too. I didn't have my two SERPA holsters in-hand at the time when I tried the XDm, so I couldn't make a test-fit.

One thing you could do is call up Blackhawk and ask them directly if the XDm will fit their SERPA XD holsters. I'm sure they'd know.
