XDM 9mm torture test
I was just watching Handguns on the Sportsman channel on Direct tv. The hosts were putting an XDM 9 through a battery of torture tests such as submersion in water, mud and sand. After very minimal cleaning it was reassembled and fired without a hitch each time. It is truly a durable and reliable firearm. I'm proud to own two with a third in the near future!

Yep, great pistols and IMO they're the best polymer framed pistol on the market $ for $.

Guess u didnt see the episode where they did that with mud it pretty much brought the fun to a halt until they cleaned it out with water but I don't think any pistol would pass that test with flying colors.

I would love to see the video clips from that! do you have the name of the program it ran on so i can google it?
Also, out of curiosity, will the XD shoot after being submerged in water without being cleaned??

Saw it a couple years back. They did a different test each week. Mud, frozen, dragged behind truck etc.

The XDM torture test was done over the course of a few episodes. It faired well on some and not so well on others. I am the proud owner of XD's and I must admit I wonder how the XD would do in the same tests.
