Awaiting Kydex material

This is a discussion on Awaiting Kydex material within the XD-M Discussion Room - XD(M) forums, part of the XD Talk category; I was thinking about picking some up and giving this a shot. There are some great videos on YouTube on how to do this....

Thanks for the advice Kaotik, I hadn't even thought of heating the foam. I suppose a blow dryer would do the trick.

havnt tried a blow dryer but kinda doubt it would give enuff heat.i picked up a harbor freight heat gun for i think 12 bucks and works awesome and also puts out enuff heat that i can use it to relieve or pull bends out the kydex once its pressed for a beter fit or to change snugness. hope it help and plus if your mold dont turn out like you want it to, jus reheat it and it will flatten back out and can be reused.

ps. trial and error will help to get your individual process down
