That's a great suggestion, thanks! I am in Florida so humidity is certainly prevalent.

Oh, Florida humidity with a little salt air mixed in. Then definitely use Eezox on the slide. If it is safe to do so (e.g. no children in the house or visiting), store the gun inside a VCI (not silicone) gun sock.
If you must store it in a case, then keep desiccant packs inside of the case and replace them every few months. Make sure the dessicant packs do not touch the gun. Good luck.

Well, as promised I took some pictures, but the website won't upload them without having 10+ posts on the forum.
So how is everybody doing today?
I decided on some 124 grain Gold Dot Speer +P for my home/self defense ammo. Mostly because that's what the local PD carries.
I'll be ordering some sort of cleaning kit online soon, any suggestions?

Sign up for Photobucket. It's free. And it's easy to load pics and vids to whatever forum you're on.

I am signed up for photobucket, but to post with it one must use an imbedded link. Which I can't do till I post 10 times. But yes, photobucket is an excellent resource that even resizes images for you.

Is the embedded link the last selection below the pics on Photobucket? I'm not computer savvy either. LoL. Either way you'll get to 10 soon enough.
