If you can follow written and video instructions, nope.
I really cant imagine a failure on the kits' end, something would have to break and the new parts are made better than whats in there stock.

Couldn't agree more! All the PRP ultimate trigger parts and all the PRP other aftermarket parts have been far superior than the OEM Springfield parts that were replaced/

I'll be the devil's advocate here and give the other side.
Think about all the "stuff" that happens when you pull the trigger. All that same stuff has to happen, but in a smaller amount of time / travel when a kit is installed. The margins are smaller after the kit is installed and thus more prone to problems. Maybe a change in temperature, or small amount of wear or just a bit of grit and you're looking at a click when you expected a bang.
While rare, it happens. Couple that with the variable skill level of the installer.... Yeah, that's why I think carry guns should be left pretty much alone.

Just DO IT! Yes the CAPS make me feel better but,, are true to heart!
I put my XDM45 Compact in the FREEZER and HOLY CRAP,, YES ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it did effect the firing performance.
Just re-adjust the Trigger Limit Stop for the extreme COLD that your freezer can duplicate. You will be GOOD TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont think i'd be able to get it out of my freezer and to the range in time for it to matter lol
however, i don't think it much matters for people who carry IWB it should be kept warm tucked up next to your body and under clothes

If I install a trigger kit in Southern Florida and then move to Northern Alaska and use the gun to carry in Alaska with an exposed holster, will it affect the guns performance. when the temps are 40* below?
