Not easily fixed AT ALL.
Do you comprehend what seating a bullet that much deeper will do to pressure?
You have no clue of what you are talking about.
There is a reason that all 10mm pistols out there share a frame with a .45...(Glock 20/29, S&W 1006/4506, Witnesses, Colt Delta (and all other 1911's)...all are based on .45 frames--well, the Glock .45 is based on the 10mm frame, but...same idea).

You are the one that doesn't know what he is talking about!
Seating a bullet that small amount would not raise pressure enough to matter. If you were worried about it just reduce the powder charge!
Are you a reloader? You sound like a factory ammo guy to me.

got any reloading manuals that say you won't have any pressure problems if you seat a bullet 1/8" deeper? Actually, don't bother with that. Just show us a video of how seating a 10mm bullet to .40S&W OAL works in your 10mm gun.

Yeah it'd be really easy. Just reduce the power down to .40 S&W levels and...

(but this '10 mm is easy' b/f posts lately makes me want to PM awhpuch for a copy of his dude eating popcorn mini infinite vid loop).
i personally think the chamber pressures and full orig 10 mm loads would require the .45 frame. a .40 cal round/cartridge with same bullet is quite diff than a 10 mm. i also 'heard' that even pressing a bullet down too close (OAL) does cause some major problems when lit up! that's why you should check the OAL just to make sure tossing all those mega rounds you just reloaded around in your ammo can or reloading hopper, didn't seat a bullet too far into the case. can you say kaboom! (i love that word)

My points exactly.
But...please, Dglock--PLEASE load a full-honk 10mm cartridge at to .40 S&W lengths, and set it off in your pistol.
Bet you only do it once...or, maybe twice if you're a slow learner...because you'll run out of hands.

But please, anybody else who is considering doing something as stupid as shoving a 10mm bullet 1/8" too deep, read these threads first:
Seating depth question - Ruger Forum (especially Iowegan's comments. He wrote the book of knowledge on the GP100 revolver. Literally. Google "IBOK".)
Pistol bullet seating depth!!
Then read any handloading manual.

Actually--what would work is just trimming that .125" off of a 10mm case, and downloading the cartridge to .40 S&W ballisitcs...that's how you get a 10mm to work in a .40 XD!
No chamber reaming necessary!
