^ Unknown, but good point.
I have much more experience with airsoft 1911s of the previous generation (WA MagnaBlowBack system) than anything else, and there, unfortunately, it's completely incompatible.
I should give this a try on my airsoft G18 and my real G32.....

Ehhh looking at my GBB 2011 from WE looks like there is a port where the gas runs from the magazine to where the striker is supposed to be, so I'm guessing switching the real slide is a no-go.
