XDM 22lr, anything sticking yet?

hello all. I posted a similar thread on the firing line a while back and all I got was a couple other guys also saying that we need XDM22s right now but I'll ask here too.

does anyone have any concrete evidence(not rumors or a friend of a friends uncle that works for springfield said...etc) of a company that is making(or working on) a 22lr conversion for XDMs or...

..any word that HSP is working on cranking some of these bad boys out?

Hold on, let me make a call...

(dialing)

Hey--Lucifer? Yeah...was wondering if there's a hockey game scheduled anytime soon...

Uh-huh.

Uh-huh.

Right around the same time as the XD .22 conversion?

Uh-huh.

Uh-huh.

But before a 10mm XD...uh-huh...gotcha.

Yep, thanks.

Go buy a GSG imported by ATI. Its a 1911 in 22lr and sells for around $310. Most conversions will cost close to that! Walther might actually make it pistol too... they make the Colt 1911 in 22lr.

there are plenty of 1911-22s out there....I don't like 1911s...hence hoping for an XDM22
