I'm looking to buy an XDm 5.25 9mm in all black. My LGS has dropped the ball on getting my gun several times. Now he has the gun and told me hw would sell it to me at $648.99 + tax... Good deal or not??

Thats a good price.
You can beat it online but after you add in the FFL fee, shipping, and having to wait an extra couple of days the price you were quoted will sound a lot better.

You should get it. In my area they are around $750+. For $650 here, you can only get an xdm 4.5.

Well.... I bought an all black 3.8 40 for $650 so yeah I'd say that's a good deal

That was the price on a 4.5 replying to someone else comment.
Grab A Gun has it for $674
Buds $691
Sportsman Outdoor (never heard of this company) $619
Then you get to pay Tax, Shipping, and a FFL fee. Plus you get an additional wait.
That's why I said the LGS gave you a good price. A great price if you take into account its a retail setting.
It was 720-730 at Cabellas last time I was there.

BOUGHT IT... XDM 5.25 9mm in all black!!! $640+tax! My LGS stepped up and made it up to me! Shane and Johnny @ Birmingham Pistol Wholesale are men of his word and that is hard to find these days! Ran 100 rounds through it and it is a damn nice pistol! I highly recommend it to all those that are considering one... buy it!!! you won't be disappointed!!!
