Looking for a all-around OWB holster for 4.5
So I'm going to start researching a nice holster for my XDm 9 4.5". The holster will be used for IDPA and potential future CC or open carry. USPSA is a possibility as well, but if I haven't shot in those matches like I have IDPA.
As a starting point, I'm looking for suggestions to start my research on. I prefer leather, or material that will minimize finish wear. My price is flexible, probably around $100 but will go higher if it's worth it. I'm definitely willing to spend $150 for the perfect holster. I'm not in any hurry so a custom ordered one is fine as well.
Anyone have suggestions? I'll take whatever is offered to do more in depth research. I've done quite a few searches, but they invariably cover a broad range of gun sizes.
Thank you.

It's not leather, but for competition with the XDM the Blade Tech Black Ice kydex holster is pretty hard to beat. The retention can be adjusted in very fine amounts, but the gun comes out fast when you want it to. I've been through four holsters for the XDM, and this one is a keeper.

I'm going to order the Barber this payday. The bodyguard looks great, too. And cheaper. Just like the looks of the Barber a whole lot.

For IDPA I'm not sure you could use something with as much cant as the Bodyguard has. The Barber really looks like a nice rig.

Yeah, I like the bodyguard, but that cant might be in issue.
Please excuse my ignorance, but what would I miss out on with a holster like this one?
Thumb Break Scabbard Belt Holster Right Hand Springfield XDM 9 40 4-1/2 Leather Black
I follow by the saying "you get what you pay for", so I'm just wondering what I'm not getting with this one vs. the barber or other custom ones. Thank you.

Lobo Gunleather or Garrett Holsters
I have a holster by Lobo Gunleather http://www.lobogunleather.com/ and he makes a great holster. Garrett Holsters http://garrettindustries.mybigcommerce.com/ uses a leather lining on a kydex holster and the one I have also works great.
