Warranty turnaround time
I sent my xdm 40 3.8 in to Springfield today to be checked out and hopefully warrantied because of what I believe a kb. How long does it usually take for them to get back to you and have it fixed?

Not sure yet. I shot around 250 rounds prior to the incident. I load up my last mag with either umc or Winchester white box. Shot three rounds on the next a small explosion happened. It popped the slide lever outside the frame of the gun, bowed the left side of the frame, broke the the extractor. And it blew apart a casing in the barrel and maybe some other things

Weird that this happened with factory ammo. Seems like SA might actually cover this. Good luck.
