Sweet, so you did it yourself? Curious what the process was, I'm considering doing my barrel.

I took the black off with a abrasive ball in my drill, similar to this: 
I used three different compounds on my bench buffer, first was emery compound next was blue stainless and final was white rouge.

I did have all this stuff already, used it to do the stainless molding on my 67 camaro.
