New mags for XDm 9 4.5, maybe a problem with one?

As far as I know, only the .45 mags are interchangeable between XD and XDm platforms. The other caliber mags are different. This is probably at the root of your problem.

Maybe I should have called them "clips" instead of "mags". Then I'd have all kinds of responses.

How would you expect anyone to diagnose that kind of problem with out seeing the mag and the gun!

As you can see most of the people that have answered you don't even know what the problem is!

Bingo! XDM mags are modified a little so probably looks the same but functionality portion of it might be altered a little bit. Quick fix, buy the correct magazine for the firearm.

Thanks guys. I ordered the correct mag's from midway a few weeks ago, well they were suppose to be XDm mags, they had sent me XD mags, I did a quick visual and they looked the same so I tested with olny 10 rounds, they worked so I through the boxes out and never put 19 rounds until the other day. I just spoke with midway, let them know, I did not have the boxes anymore and that they were not what I ordered, they said return them anyway and they will fix the issue when they get more instock in a few weeks. Great customer service, I figured I was screwed for pitching the orignal boxes.
