XDm Compact Grip Length 9 vs. 45

Is the grip length on the XDm Compact 45 shorter than that of the XDm Compact 9mm or are they the same ? I can just barely fit my three fingers on the grip of the 9mm. The stores around here are currently out of the 45acp version, so I can't get my hands on one to try it out.

I'm not sure. But I do know that you can use a Pearce grip extension. I have one on my XDm9c. Also, it should come with "Xtension sleeve". You can use a full size magazine with the sleeve on it and it'll be the same as a full size grip.

I think they are about the same. I could be wrong but I can get the same amount of grip on my XD9sub and XDM45c.

according to springfield, the xdm45c is 5.5 inches tall with the flush mag, the xdm9c is 5.75 inches tall with the flush mag

having said that, my grip tape that's made for the 9mm, fits the 45 length wise perfectly
