XDM Compact 40 or 45?????

I am in the same kind of indecision, 40 or 45 compact. I was wondering if there is a big difference in the loaded weight between the two.

All of my friends ask me "Why do you carry a .45 ?!" My answer: Because they don't make a .46 !! Smooth shootin and with the XDm you get the best of both worlds.

I am willing to give up a round or two for the undisputed CCW cartridge. If I fire all rounds from my weapon and come up with only one hit on a bad guy.... I would want it to be a 45!!!

Add in some CORBON 185 gr. plus P (DPX)

It must be close. You get a few extra rounds in with the .40 so the weight diff. has to be neglagible.

The .45 is amazing I love it. My duty weapon is a Glock 22 .40. Like falcon stated you give up a couple of rounds getting the .45 compact but hey when your a good shot you don't need those extra rounds or for that fact all but 1 or 2 :P

Congrats and I am sure you will fall in love with it after just one time at the range.
