Picked up the 45c!

Finally got the call. Took state police a week to get my approval done. CRAZY!! Took the new pistol home with a box of golden sabers and a few boxes of PMC. I need to get over to the range for her initiation..

The flush mag is hard as hell to get seated when it's topped off. The full size seats no problem.

It wouldn't be mine without a scratch so I went ahead and gave it some character as soon as I got it home. I tried slipping it into the XDgear paddle holster that comes in the box and when the slide came out of the bottom of the holster it grazed my pocket knife.... We have character...

The M compact fits like a glove in the CBST for the XD9. I couldn't have been luckier there. I will write more after I shoot this baby.

Congrats! I've had my eye on one for a while and just held one yesterday, now I can't wait to finally purchase one.
Glad to hear it fits well in the CBST for the XD9 since thats what I currently have. Let us know how it shoots!

I have the same "issue" with the mags, but you do get used to it after a while.

I can't find one anywhere. I have looked at at least 6 different shops since they were released, and I am told "it will be six months before they reach stores". WTH ???

Went and put 150 230g (50 rounds Independence) (100 rounds PMC) down range and a box of 230g golden sabers too. 1st - This gun is accurate as hell. 2nd - All flawless rounds EXCEPT when I tried to run a topped off flush mag. I couldn't rack the first round in. The mag is so tight I can't disengage it very easily when full. I had a round get caught with a half rack and it was SUPER tough to get the mag out and release the "half racked" round. I got the mag off and the round out so all was good. If I run 8 rounds the mag seats like a dream and feeds the 1st round with ease. I'm guessing tight mag spring as the full size mag has zero issues. I will keep the flush mag loaded with 8 for now until the spring loosens up.

All in all this pistol shot great up close and out to 21feet. I will say after 150+ rounds my wrist was tired. The 9 never fatigues me in any way so that was new. I actually rubbed a little blister on the thumb knuckle down by the webbing of my thumb/pointer. I'm sure more trigger time will take care of these issues. I need to put on the other back straps too and see whats best. I have it on the middle one now and it feels great.

I will wash old (new) girl up and take a few pics here after the kids go to bed..

PS: Shot her right out of the box again. I did that with the sub 9 too. No pre clean or anything.

I want Trijicons like on my sub but I have to say the stock 3 dots are on point! They will definitely do the job until upgrade time.

Congratulations on getting the XDMc. I picked up one in November. Love it.

If you like the 3 dot sights, one option is repainting the dots. Bright Sights has different colors. Instead of buying the whole kit I bought the colors I wanted from a local gun store. The paint that glows in the dark is not real practical because the paint has to be charged with a light to see. Also read somewhere that it's not good to look at the sights at night because the flash will blind you.

Can you order it online and have it shipped to your FFL?
