trigger kits PRP and springer
Powder River Precision, Inc. PRP~ Perfecting Your XD/XDM!
Does anyone have any experience with either or both of these? Or are their better kits out there? I am thinking about this for a XDm 5.25 45 cal. , to shorten the trigger reset and lower the weight from 6.5 to about 3.5.
thanks
Len

i have the prp drop in trigger kit for the xdm, it is a high quality item. it was pertty simple to install and gave my gun a trigger pull of around 4- 4.5 lbs. it also comes with a low power spring kit to reduce it down to 3.5lbs. also they have killer customer service if you have anny questions or problems.
id buy it agan in a heartbeat
give it a try.

yes. prp, springer and canyon creek. I have a prp kit but I'm sure all are quality trigger jobs that will accomplish this for you.

Those are the 2 leaders in the XD trigger world. Can't go wrong with either.

I ordered the PRP ultimate trigger out for my XDMc 40, and let me tell you, it was by far the best mod I have ever used!!!! My trigger pre travel is significantly less, as well as the trigger pull... It us like a completely different weapon!!! I will will always use PRP after that install, and I did it in 2 hours after have been up all night, with n prior experience medling with the internal mechanisms...

I personally like Springer Precision.
As for the list above, I would add two more options. All four are really good and they all do it a different way:
- Home Page
- Springfield Armory
