Picked up my new XDm .45c today and after a quick wipe down at the LGS proceeded to run a box of 50 FMJ and a mag of hp through it. My first .45 and I already love it. The kick is a little more than my .40's but it doesn't seem to snap ^ quite as much as they do.
I shot it at 3, 5, 7 and 25 yds. It was quite accurate (probably much more than I am

) at every distance.
My only issue was that it was VERY difficult to get the 9th round in the short mag, and if I put 1 in the pipe and 9 in the short mag I couldn't get the short mag to seat and lock in place.
I've loaded 9 into the mag and am letting it sit in hopes that it will loosen up after having some tension on it foe a while. If not, I guess I'll get to check out SA's customer service.
Won't be putting it in the CC rotation til I get this resolved, but I really like the way it shoots so far.
Not sorry about selling my M&P 9c to help finance it at all. (I'm not ragging on M&P's at all. I'll never get rid of my .40c

)
Can't wait to get back to the range and get more familiar with my new baby.
