Yep. Powder River Precision and Springer both make highly rated trigger kits. I have the PRP kits in my XD and XDm and love them.

Sweet. It won't make it lighter though right? Just get the mushiness out? I'd be getting it for a carry gun (XDm 3.8c).

I know with the PRP trigger kits you can use the stock springs to retain stock trigger pull weight if you'd like or mix and match. The take up and overtravel will be greatly decreased.

The PRP Drop in kit comes with two sets of springs so you can use the stock, the "regualar" set from PRP or the "competition" set from PRP. I went from 7 lbs 0 oz stock to 5 lbs 1.5 oz so that is OK for carry in my book. I have not tried the competition springs yet, but they are suppose to lower the pull another 0.5 to 1 lb.

To get the mushy out you can just put in the PRP sear and polish a few areas. That will keep the factory long pull, moderate pull force but will make it feel a lot better. Heck, you can just do the polishing (smoothing really - no need for mirror bright) and it will be a ton better.
