The XDm .45 Compact is Sweet!
I put quite a few rounds through the XDm Compact .45 yesterday. It shoots right on with 230 grain ammo and seems easy to shoot well. I think it will be a hit.
I should have our first video posted with it later today or tomorrow (Monday). I checked and discovered that this gun is right at the same weight as the G30, but the XDm slide is a tad bit thinner at the thickest point.
Anyway, I like it.

'Ol Hick has been around the industry for awhile, he gets most his pistols directly from the manufactor. Rob Leatham (TGO) posted this morning that he got his 45 Compact this weekend also, another direct shipment from SA if I were to guess.

I have to say this... you sir are by FAR my favorite YouTube reviewer. Watching your videos is like hanging out in the backyard with a favorite uncle who can teach you to shoot and lets you try out his extensive gun collection. I wish you offered instruction because I'm certain if I spent a few days under your watchful eye, I could be a much better marksman than I am now. This isn't a knock on the XDm Compact, but I am not a huge fan of the grip. To me, it felt uncomfortable not being to get the pinky finger on the grip. I had originally set out today to locate and buy a XDm compact .45 but ended up with a XD compact .45.
