I should have our first video posted with it later today or tomorrow (Monday). I checked and discovered that this gun is right at the same weight as the G30, but the XDm slide is a tad bit thinner at the thickest point.

Anyway, I like it.

Just watched your video review. First off... that is an INCREDIBLE range!

Second, NICE SHOOTING!

Third, now I really want one... damn...

I've been carrying my XD45T for last few days and find it slightly... um... large/heavy... for daily carry...

With the Pearce Grip X you'd love it brother.......On the other hand the XD45C is another great pistol............

Great video! Thanks for taking the time to let us know on this site. I was just on your channel yesterday watching your review of the Ruger SR911. I've been back and forth on my next purchase being this XDM 3.8 .45 or a 1911. So, I am very happy to see this post. Thank you again for your wonderful reviews.

That range is awesome!

Yes, it's a T&E gun from Springfield, another one that's going to be hard to send back instead of a check. For a Glock guy, I sure am beginning to be a "back-slider"; I"m now the proud owner of the 9mm 5.25 and the .45 ACP in 5.25. The Compact .45 could be added to the stable before it's over.

Thanks for the kind words I see above. My son and I enjoy doing these things and are mighty glad that people seem to enjoy letting us just be ourselves. If we had to make a fancy production out of everything, instead of just getting out stuff and shooting it, I'd probably not do it.

Glad to hear you have a positive review. Its good to hear opinions from a non fanboy. Don't get me wrong I really love the XD, but there are people that get hooked on a brand and won't try anything else. Sorry to ramble on, thanks for the review.

Just wanted to thank you for your honest and spot-on reviews you do. I'm a big fan of the work you and your son do, and please keep on doing what you are. Thanks for the video on the XDm .45 Compact, I'll be sure to watch it when I get home this afternoon!

Take care, and shoot safe!

Really enjoyed seeing you check out the XDm 45 compact. I just got mine this morning and I'm looking forward to taking it to the range for a test drive.

Hey Hickok45! Really enjoy your videos and I have learned so much over the last few months of watching. Thanks for all your time in doing these vids.

You should hook up with Professional Russian at the compound! Would make for a great video.

Thanks for the reviews hickok45. Your reviews are my go to, as you give all guns a fair shake, despite being a Glock guy.

Next time your near Murfreesboro you should check out Outpost Armory off exit 89, next to the Barrett factory. Nice selection of guns and gear.

Thumbs up I was glad to finally see the XDm45c in action!

I'm a big fan, Hickok45! I'm a subscriber to your channel and love your reviews. You and your son do a great job!

I have to admit that reading the idiotic comments to each video can sometimes be more entertaining than the videos themselves - morons are alive and well on the internet!

You and Big John keep up the good work. We'll keep watching!
