This is really good information and I thank you for that but I would like to clarify a few things:

1. Im assuming your $475 number is a quoted used price, or is that for new? And also for bitone? I only specified that afterwards, this so I am just checking, and I have seen that bitone adds around 50$ to the price in most cases.

2. What do you mean by "wholesale". In my experience that is not the price consumers pay but what dealers would pay to their supplier, please correct me if I am wrong.

3. This gun includes the case and all the XDm "goodies" but I am pretty sure that you only get 2 magazines, even according to SA's website.

4. Night sight would be around $100 + installation because I do not own the correct press.

Therefore I am looking at around $600 after night sight installation for "wholesale" price you mentioned.
I don't mean to sound rude if I did, just trying to clarify a few things.

[XDm.40competition]

I just got a .40 competition 5.25. I hope it wasn't a complete impulse buy. I havent shot it yet and have already posted questions on this forum (optics and glass and new member welcome center) on what to do about the sights.

I guess I'll take her out for a spindles rounds, talk to many people and ask alot of questions Til I come up with the right answer.
