Picking a new one up today.
Any pointers on breaking it in? Or just general pointers about the pistol? I will likely use some NATO rounds to break it in, as I've read they are higher pressure and will work it a little harder!
I've been waiting for this pistol for quite a while. Thanks in advance!

No break in required for my 5.25. 1000 rounds of CCI 115 gr Blazer through mine, 100% reliable. My goto gun for IDPA now...got rid of all the Glocks.

Finally got mine today!!!
I got my BiTone today. Thought there would be a green fiber tube in with it. It has a long thin orange fiber tube and no details on it's use.
Can't wait to shoot it!!! All my blackhawk holsters fit it.
(trying to figue out how to post pic. I created an album for it.)

You are cleared to "shoot away", now carry on.
Seriously, you should have no issues with the gun. It would be advisable to have some practice time with the gun before using it in IDPA or USPSA. You will want to have a feel of when the trigger breaks and resets and where do the sights point. Magazine can sometimes casue issues, so make sure you have rounds through each mag to inusre they are reliable and function.

Sorry, off topic a bit. Where are you finding the 5.25? No local dealers here have it. Only place I have seen it is at Buds and on Gun Broker.

I doubt anyone is making night sights for the 5.25 yet. Eventually, someone may make a front only (or a front night sight for the 4.5 may work) but I wouldn't think the market for an adjustable night sight to replace the 5.25 rear sight is very large.
