Very nice writeup, This is going to be a life saver later on down the road. At first I was planning on keeping everything on the gun stock, now I'm wanting to tinker here and there. Thanks (added to my favorites list.)

What %age of newbs will actually read this thread instead of just hollerin' for help before they search or read?

There is a sight pusher that works great on the XDm pistols and almost all others at a very good price -$75.00. Model and Tool, matt@modelandtool.com, Mathew ODonnell. I have used mine on XD's and XDm's.

I got a XDm 9 is there a up conversion to 40 or 45 .do I have to buy slide and barrell
