Springfield Armory service

Sent my XDM9 in for service last week due to the trigger being stuck and the mag release sticking. Both due to rust. They flat out accused me of
dumping "some kind" of chemical in the gun. I told them the only chemical that was put in there was Gun Scrubber when the trigger stuck the last time. She basically called me a liar and said they had to replace 6 parts due to rust and I had to pay for the parts. Cost me $57. That $57 just cost them a customer. I had heard nothing but great things about their service. Springfield Armory can piss off. I am going to trade it off for a Glock.

Rant over

Hmm, I haven't heard of this before. I've had excellent customer service with them. Sorry to hear.

What do you suspect was neglected? This gun was carried, shot, and cleaned. I am pretty sure the manual doesn't specify removing the mag release or trigger assembly to clean or inspect.

He put more than 5 rounds down range...these guns are supposed to stand up to abuse...

I assume that he carried it...possibly daily. This exposes the gun to all sorts of elements...sweat for one.

They should have taken care of him and not accused him of dumping battery acid all over the internals.. or whatever they say he did ...

I expected more from SA.
