The melting temperature of brass is 1710 F, while the melting temperature of the steel in your slide is around 2600 F. Meanwhile, the melting temperature of the lead in the bullet is a lowly 621 F.

So all you have to do is very carefully, with the barrel pointing down, heat your gun up to around 1710 F. The bullet and brass will melt and drop out the barrel, leaving your slide untouched.

It's perfect.
