I know this would be a bad idea. I was just answering your question on how or what would be used to get a bullet out with out damaging the barrel.

So the slide is stuck closed b/c the extractor is on the case?
Maybe one man on the slide pulling it back and another with the dowel rod?

Flame suit on
what about pulling the trigger? Bullet goes out and case pushes it self out?

Stop your advice please.

I vote the counter top or workbench method. 9 times out of 10 the casing rim will bend before the extractor is hurt. If you have a vice, this would be simpler. Get the slide in the vice, pointed down, and take a thick punch, or piece of wood, and tap on the rear of the frame with a rubber mallet.

Do not fire it, that is just a bad idea. The blast will come out of the 1/4" casing that is exposed. However, the pistol isn't in battery, so I doubt it will even go off.

Worry about getting that slide back, then worry about getting the round out.

So what exactly have you tried to do to get the round out? Please list them so that we can stop repeating the same advice.

you guys OBVIOUSLY dont know anything, you gotta take the gun, take a metal chop saw and cut the gun in half, then he can get the bullet out easier, then you just WELD THE GUN BACK TOGETHER
