XDm or RCBS Reloading Setup
I can't decide what I want!
9mm Bi-Tone XDm
or
RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme Reloading kit along with the Case Prep Center, Chargemaster Dispenser and Scale.
Both are lightly used, and right around the same price.
Help me make my decision..

The setup I am looking at is used. It is the Supreme Kit, along with the Case Prep Center ($100), Chargemaster Powder Dispenser and Scale ($200) So the value new is at like $700, I just have to track down componets and learn. Or get the XDM at a good deal and just purcahse ammo for a while.

The RCBS Rock Chucker is an excellent device. I have had mine for more than twenty years and it still works flawlessly. Get a good book on reloading with all the recipes listed.

so.....i would get the reloading equipment. If your shooting like 500 rounds a week i would DEFINITELY get the reloading equipment
i encountered this odd phenomenon where if you need to spend less time and money on the same amount of shooting you are in fact going to do more shooting
when i had my taurus pt-111 and no reloading equipment (just buying them instead) i would maybe shoot 250 rounds a week. this weekend i went to the range twice and shot up about 700 rounds.

Or maybe this will help you decide:

Check to see if you can find primers / powder in your area. That may help you decide. If you have components around, the reloader would be a good investment. Tell the wife it will keep you home and handy for her and the kids!
