Might anyone using ultrasonic cleaners list brand names and sources? I am interested in learning more about them before I buy.

Dont know the brand, but go to your local Harbor Freight and get the one listed for $79.99 on their web site and $89.99 in the stores. Make sure you print out the web page with the price and then they will honor the online price. As I said, do not put aluminum parts in the machine. As for solutions, I just use tap water and a few drops of dish washing soap, but you can buy dedicated solutions to clean your firearms in an ultrasonic cleaner.

Hopps and patches or cut up t-shirts for wiping down larg areas. I then scrub the parts with a soaked tooth brush then when i need to get to the snug areas I blow most of the stuff out with a can of compressed air for electronics and wipe away the extra.

NON-chlorinated brake parts cleaner +1. much cheaper and works the same as gun scrubber. then brush and q-tips.
