Did you read my post #5?????
Yes, there is noticeable difference in recoil....
As for the weight difference.....
Stock I believe is 0.84 oz
The Canyon Creek solid tungsten is 4.1 ounces +/- .1
You really think you're going to notice 3 extra ounces???

I did read your post and I don't doubt what you said is true. I just wanted to get feed back from others as well. I usually don't make a major purchase just from one person testimonial...I want to see if there are any cons as well. In any event, thank you for your experience and knowledge.

You didn't, I just didn't want you to think that I completely ignored the information you provided. Thanks again!

I'm looking forward to that range report!

Installing the guide rod
Just received the guide rod for my XDM 9......Is there anything special needed to install it? The instructions indicate a gunsmith should do the install. I tried to pull out the stock rod, but don't want to damage the spring.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance.

Its just as easy as field stripping... pull out the old... stick in the new... nothing complicated...
