The XD serpa will fit the XDM. In fact, that is a good choice for a secure OC holster.

Blackhawk Holster for XDm

+ 1 on above.
While is does not SAY 'fits XDm', I have one, and it fits fine.

Blackhawk CQC-
410007BK-L Carbon Fiber Holster with SERPA Retention System

Enjoy.

If you do use the Serpa, be warned that there is some play with the XDm in the XD version. It is not bad but the weapon is a little loose and will move around a little bit. I use the Serpa for OC at the range and I love it. The main reason why I have it is becuase it is is a modular platform and it can be converted to a thigh holster for use in the winter. If you are concerned about the play and want the weapon to fit nice and snug, there are some who have used duct tape inside the holster. I am going to try different things to improve the fit but overall the Serpa is worth it.

Agreed. I have one and the "movement" is minimal. Its a great holster. The retention is good as well. Now if Texas would ever pass an open carry bill....

Is there a thread on this forum or another about this technique? What other solutions are you considering? I might attempt to use some black electrical tape to make it more snug. Another option that I'm considering is using spray adhesive to adhere strips of suede or cloth to some points inside. Maybe the whole interior can be lined? Where can I read about this?
