This is a discussion on Trijicon HD Night Sights within the xd-hs2000.com forums, part of the Forum Sponsors & Commerce category; I guess I should have clarified. I get the concept but don't see the use of charging the sight up. I bet it's probably just ...

I guess I should have clarified. I get the concept but don't see the use of charging the sight up. I bet it's probably just that the ability to do so is a byproduct of the sights sucking in any available light for those low light situations. Didn't view the big picture, thank you!

Oh ya, I agree. I see videos on youtube where people take a light to it real quick....and that is sort of impractical for anything more than just taking a look at the function...I can't imagine someone doing that for a home defense encounter or the like.

Trijocon's are great

James installed mine and they look great. Took 1 week turn-around; sent on Thurs and returned on Thursday.

Great job and great price.

They are awesome!

Is the factory finish good enough for ccw without a sweat guard or would it be worthwhile to get it gunkoted or something similiar? Thanks for the help.

EDIT: XD9SC Black

Got my slide back today from James. Haven't made it out to the range yet so there will be a range report to come. I'm hoping they're as dead on as my old sights were.

Looks great. It's clear James knows what he's doing and that he took good care of my slide. The sights themselves are awesome as well. I'm glad I went with the HD's.

I'll post some pictures for you all considering the purchase.

Nice! Pictures don't do it justice. I installed mine on my G22 a few days ago and at the range today, I couldn't help but notice how quick picking up the front sight was.

Watch yourself, I kept wanting to shoot faster and faster (I don't really target shoot with carry guns much anyways) and I was still being "combat accurate".

Nice set up!

Glad you like yours too! I can't wait to take it to the range. Hopefully I can get out this weekend...
