By law you have to inform the shipper you are shipping a pistol. Then the Shipper UPS/Fedex will make you over night that pistol. Unless you have a big account with them you will have to pay to over night the pistol to us and depending were you are at in the country will cost you about 40-50 plus dollars to do so. Then we will have to sip it back to you overnight about 40-50.00 plus so if you budget 100.00 for shipping you should be able to cover the expense of just shipping. Those are not my prices those are UPS/Fedex. Remember to add the cost for insurance as well. I just tried a package 4 pounds with 700.00 value going from AL to IL next day air saver was 69.00 UPS and 68.70 Fedex.

Now you can involve a third party (dealer in your state) to ship via Post Office. But you need to add the hassle of that third party and their log/transfer/background/etc fees. The third party may be a bunch of dummies and you have to deal with that. If we get the gun from a dealer it has to go back to that dealer not direct to you. Most gun stores do not want the hassle.

Have to get this on the schedule for sure. James if i ship the slide seperate from the frame, do i have to declare its a pistol? I am thinking about having you do FDE on my frame and then some nights sights as well? Your thoughts? Great job by the way?
